Morgan’s 3 Wheeler Lives On!

Next generation of iconic Malvern model is previewed

Published on 31 Dec 2021

Morgan’s (new) 3 Wheeler was revealed in 2011, as a modern homage to the company’s iconic three-wheeled vehicles produced between 1911 and 1952. Sporting a modern S&S V-Twin engine, the 3 Wheeler gained a niche following, where many were saddened when production ended in 2021. However, good news is on the horizon as the men at Malvern have showcased its successor, which is due to be released in 2022.

The sketches reveal that the historic homage remains, as do many of the design cues of the first-generation 3 Wheeler. Just like that one, this will feature two wheels at the front and a single rear wheel handling drive duties at the rear. Lovers of internal combustion engines can rejoice too, as the powerplant is reported to be a three-cylinder naturally aspirated Ford unit, which celebrates a long partnership between Morgan and Ford that dates back to 1933.
